Tweaking your PC

Those who wants a responsive and fast system should disable unnecessary services. Please visit this site and see all the recommended settings. You will be surprise how many services can be disabled. I'm surprise alot of my friends who are computer savvy dun know about this site. This is a must-visit site after a format. Vista users are also reminded to go here since vista is a super resource hogger.

Anyway, have been using vista for the past few days. Currently running dual-boot with xp to play play. Seems quite ok. But super resource hogging, new services like double those from xp. PLEASE PLEASE PLEEASSEE go to blackviper and tweak ur system if you are using vista, ur pc will thank you for that. And also something to mention since i'm using 64-bit vista: make sure your hardware got 64bit drivers by checking on the respective manufacturers website and you still can run 32-bit applications stably. So far no hang and BSOD yet, keeping fingers crossed. 64-bit rocks since it can utilize all 4gb of ram which i'm currently running on. CHEERS.
