anyway have been busy with my fyp and the report. finally finished the report. but still got amendments to do later on.
so my fyp has reached a stage where the prototype is finger recognizable... and now it is performed on the glass(solid surface). so easier to implement also. very Microsoft Surface liao. TouchWall to be exact.
it is my prof who changed to the solid surface la. basically he wants to showcase a new interactive visualization tool for real-time earthquake activity, something that he wanted to do as he had links with the new faculty in our school - Earth Observatory of Singapore (EOS). so basically EOS wanted a very visual experience in their lobby for guests coming in from the main entrance.. and my prof was thinking of putting my multi-touch system at the lobby to give the state-of-the-art paradigm the new faculty wanted to exudes.
anyway the NASA world wind in java visualization. still got problem with the panning. its not my code lar... its gotta do with the world wind SDK... so still trying to see it there is any workarounds.... sianz....
